Hamburger Steak Foil Packs
If you’re looking for a super quick, super delicious dinner idea, look no further than these hamburger steak foil packs. These are easy to make and require very little cleanup - a mom’s dream on a busy weeknight! I cooked these in the oven, but you can cook them on the grill too.
For the hamburgers:
4 hamburger patties
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tbsp A1 sauce
For the veggies:
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 yellow onion, sliced thin
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp black pepper
Let’s cook:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Season vegetables.
Tear 4 sheets of heavy duty aluminum foil and create a “bowl” with each sheet (for extra durability, double the foil and use 2 sheets).
Add the prepared vegetables to the bottom of the foil packs, then place the patty on top.
Add the seasonings/sauces to the patty right in the foil pack.
Tightly fold up the foil pack so nothing will leak out.
Place foil packs, seam side down, straight on the oven rack. Cook for 15 minutes.
Turn packs over and bake 15 more minutes.
Remove from oven, open up the foil packs, and enjoy!
