Mom Uniform Styled Five Ways
One of my go-to outfits is black leggings and a white t-shirt. It’s a versatile duo that’s comfortable and can be dressed up or down, and the perfect outfit to do all the mom things. By layering different pieces with the leggings and tee, you can create a variety of outfits. Today I’m sharing a mom uniform, styled five ways.
For a more organized morning, you’ll love this post where I share five practical things moms can do for an effective morning routine.
Mom Uniform Styled Five Ways
For the base layers, we’re taking an oversized white crewneck t-shirt and pairing it with classic black leggings. You could even take the leggings up a notch and wear faux leather leggings in the fall and winter months. These are two staple pieces to have in your wardrobe.

Mom Uniform Styled with a Denim Jacket
The first way to style your mom uniform is to layer a denim jacket over your white t-shirt. A denim jacket is a great transitional jacket to wear when it’s not that cold, but not that warm. And what I love about a denim jacket is that it looks just as good styled ultra casually with this look. And also looks darling with a maxi dress, skirt or black jeans. I finished the look with braided sandals. But you could also wear knee-high boots to dress the look up a bit.

Mom Uniform Styled with a Blazer
To dress your mom uniform up, layer a blazer over the top of your white tee. You can choose to wear a blazer with a pop of color or wear a more neutral option too - whatever fits your personal style. This is also a great option if you work from home. More business on the top, and more comfortable at the bottom. You can pair booties with this look in place of the sandals if it’s getting chillier outside.

Mom Uniform Styled with a Cardigan
Who doesn’t love a snuggly cardigan? A longline cardigan works well with black leggings to streamline the look. Because there are so many different styles and textures in cardigans, you can find one that matches your personal style. Cardigans are easy to pair with denim jeans too. You can finish the look with a cute pair of mules for a casual yet classy look.

Mom Uniform Styled with a Hat and Sneakers
The next mom uniform outfit option is to style a baseball hat and sneakers with your white t-shirt and black leggings. This is a great option to run your kids to their extracurricular activities. For an extra layer to have on hand, tie your denim jacket around your waist. If you’re at the soccer fields or anywhere else outside, it can get chilly in the evenings. So having an extra layer with you wherever you go, keeps you prepared.

Mom Uniform Styled with an Oversized Sweatshirt
Speaking of layers to keep with you, another great option to layer with your mom uniform is an oversized sweatshirt. Because the black leggings are form fitting, an oversized sweatshirt balances out the look. Most of the oversized sweatshirts are tunic-length, which gives you coverage for your backside too.
