How to Make a Halloween Charcuterie Board

Calling all spooky, scary Halloween party throwers! Add a little festive fun to your food table with a Halloween charcuterie board. There are so many different ways you can make one, which is the beauty of it. You can opt for it to be more of a dessert-style or more protein-packed with meats, cheeses, hummus and other savory bites. Oh and you totally don’t have to throw a party to make one of these either. This past weekend, I made one for a fun movie night snack for the kids, and they loved it! Today, I’m sharing how to make a Halloween charcuterie board.

I used a platter with a skeleton on it for my charcuterie board. Target has quite a few cute Halloween platters that you could use that I’ll link below along with a few other options. I did more of a “snack” charcuterie board. CLICK HERE to watch this charcuterie board come to life!

This charcuterie board is a filled with lots of yummy desserts, but they color coordinated it purple and green. I love this color combination together, and you don’t often see it used as much as orange and black. I think you can find most of this at Target or your local grocery store too!

For a more savory-inspired Halloween charcuterie, feast your eye on this creepy, crawly board. If your board is going to be used more for a pre-dinner snack or served with dinner, then you’ll probably want to stick to things your traditional charcuterie board has like meats, cheeses, crackers and fruit.

If you want to lay the food out how you want without trying to carve out a coffin from the brie or try and make pumpkins with a cheese ball, then,simply add a few small real pumpkins to the board. Then, top it off with some plastic spiders and a skeleton hand or other Halloween decor for an extra spooky touch.

This might take the cake for me! How darling is this? If you look at it, it really doesn’t look too hard to make. You just have to find the foods that they used and line them up on a round cheese board that has a handle. The adults and kids alike will go crazy over this because of how it looks and tastes - because there is something for everybody on this board.
