Slow Cooker Chili Recipe

There’s nothing better than making a delicious and hearty bowl of chili on a cold night. I’ve been making this recipe for my family for as long as I can remember, and it’s always a crowd favorite. Plus it’s so easy to do, especially on a busy weeknight. All you do is pour all the ingredients in a slow cooker, set it and forget it! I hope you love this slow cooker chili recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 2 (14.5oz) cans diced tomatoes

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 (30oz) can tomato sauce

  • 1 (15.5oz) can chili beans

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt

  • 4 tsp cumin

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • 1-2 jalapeños, chopped

How To Cook

Add all the above ingredients to your slow cooker. Then, cook on low for 6-8 hours. You can top with your favorites like shredded cheese, crackers, sour cream, green onion or jalapenos.

If you’re hosting a pre-trick-or-treating party, this recipe is the perfect thing to make. It will fill your kiddos’ bellies up, so they don’t go overly crazy with the candy, and get some nutrition in before their big night out.
