5 Spring Capsule Wardrobe Pieces

With spring right around the corner, I am getting ready to do a spring refresh throughout my home! I will be starting with reevaluating my wardrobe. I do not like keeping things that I am not wearing, so I will be going through all of my clothes and getting rid of what I no longer wear. However, this means I can go shopping to replace things, right?!

I want to try and be more intentional with what clothing I am buying and making sure that I get pieces that I will continuously wear. With that being said, I will be building a spring capsule wardrobe to practice that minimalist outlook. I’ve put a lot of thought into the types of clothing and accessories I like to wear in the spring, and I’ve narrowed them down to a handful of items that I know I can mix and match throughout the spring season and into summer. I rounded up 5 spring capsule wardrobe pieces and linked several options for each!

Neutral Top

The first item I've chosen is a neutral top. Neutral tops are great because you can mix and match with other pieces. I love a classic white shirt and chose several options along with a neutral beige. Both shades complement any other color of clothing, so they can be worn multiple ways. All of these pieces are perfect for spring with their light colors and can easily be worn during the summer as well.

T-Shirt Dress

Next up is a t-shirt dress. I love t-shirt dresses because they are so easy to throw on, and you still look put together with minimal effort. You can easily add to this outfit with other pieces that you already have like a jean jacket or a cardigan. T-shirt dresses also go great with a variety of footwear like sandals or sneakers, so you can dress them up or down.

Sandals

For every spring outfit, you need a great pair of sandals. I love adding neutral sandals to my wardrobe, so they can be worn with anything in my closet. So it is a no brainer that they would be in a capsule wardrobe. I love the different styles that are offered even when choosing a neural color like tan or black.

White Jeans

One of my favorite pieces to wear in the spring and summer are white jeans. I love pairing them with a pop of color, and they also go great with your neutral tops that you will already have in this capsule wardrobe. White jeans are such a classic and timeless look, and you can easily dress them up or down by adding different shoes and accessories.

Straw Sun Hat

The last thing that I wear the most in the spring is a straw sun hat! I try my best to protect my face when out in the sun, so a hat is a necessary item for me. There are so many options these days from cute floppy hats to the trendy bucket hat. I’ve linked all different styles, so I think there is one out there for everyone!
